We are a private billing practice. Accounts are rendered after each consultation and a discount is offered for payment at the time.
Pensioners and children under 12 are offered a discounted rate.
We offer Easyclaim so that you can claim your Medicare rebate straight away. For instant payment of your rebate you can use a cheque or savings card or if Medicare has your bank details we can send it online.
Procedures will be privately billed. Your doctor will advise you of an estimate of costs and out of pocket expenses at the time of your consultation. Procedures cannot be billed until the Histology Report is received from Pathology. This usually takes a couple of weeks.
Dressings and materials are billed privately and separate to your consultation.
If you miss an appointment and fail to advise us at least 2 hours beforehand you will be charged a Failure to Attend fee of $30.00 or a long appointment $50.00. This fee applies to everyone and cannot be claimed back at Medicare.
Questions related to fees can be dealt with by the receptionist. If you have difficulty paying your account, please feel free to discuss this matter with your doctor.
