The new year brings new doctors to Glen Forrest Medical Centre.
Glen Forrest Medical Centre would like to introduce Dr Mark Daykin who has commenced working Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday and will be working towards fulltime.
Dr Daykin was born and trained in England’s Midlands and worked as a GP in Bristol and the Cotswolds before moving with his wife to the WA Wheatbelt in 2009.
Originally planning to work abroad for only two years, they fell in love with the Perth Hills and so chose to move here permanently with their family.
Dr Daykin enjoys the range family medicine offers as well as specialising in emergency medicine, men’s health and internal medicine including age care, diabetes and cardiovascular medicine.
His main interests outside of work include enjoying spending time with his young family, philosophy, and looking after his acreage in the Hills as well as being a keen soccer fan.
Dr Alina Harriss is also returning to Glen Forrest Medical Centre from Monday, January 18.
