Be flu smart.

The annual flu vaccination is the best way to prevent yourself from getting the flu, and from then passing it on to someone else.  Flu vaccination is very important for people who are at-risk of complications from influenza, and for those in close contact with at-risk people.

The flu is very easy to spread, especially when in close contact with other people.  You can catch it when an infected person coughs or sneezes as they release small virus-containing droplets into the air. [Read more…]

Flu Clinics will be running in late May

The flu vaccine will be available later than usual this year.

Flu Clinics will start in late May which will allow time for your immunity to be strengthened before the flu season starts (June to September).

For anyone travelling to the Glen Forrest Medical Centre from Midland on the Great Eastern Highway please be aware that Mainroads WA will be undertaking roadwork between 19/02/18 until 30/03/18 during the hours of 5am and 3pm.

Please take this in to consideration when planning your travel time.

My Health Records is a secure electronic summary of your health information which can be accessed anywhere in Australia.
It would include your medical conditions, medications, allergies and immunisations.
